Thailand Expat Move To Vietnam??

As an Expat living in Bangkok Thailand I go to Saigon/HCMC a couple times a year and really like the city. So on this trip thought I'd take a look at some comparable quality living costs plus look at some Expat hangouts etc. So, is the grass REALLY greener 'over there'? One's mileage may vary & your thoughts on the subject are most welcomed :) STL
